**Jake Rinard, PMP** · Program Director, Industrial Megaprojects

He has led capital programs for 28 years on industrial and infrastructure megaprojects, including data centers, high-voltage substations, and seawater cooling. He hires and directs the licensed trades and critical-facility crews who build and commission that work.

As a U.S. Air Force veteran and program director, he designed these sites to help people enter the skilled trades: which trades are hiring, what training matters, and how to take the first step.

## What this site is
A plain-language guide to the trades that matter on hyperscale and colocation campuses: critical power, cooling, piping, utility feeders, and fiber, with national pay and outlook figures from public federal sources. It is not a lead marketplace and does not sell contact information.

## Sister sites
- [HighPayingTrades.com](https://highpayingtrades.com/): national and state wage tables, growth, and programs by trade.
- [RegisteredTradeSchools.com](https://registeredtradeschools.com/): apprenticeships and trade schools.

## Sources & methodology
Pay and employment figures come from the BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (May 2025), and outlook figures from BLS Employment Projections (2025–35). Each role lists its SOC code so you can check the source tables yourself. Certifications are linked to their issuing bodies on Roles. Where public data doesn't publish a number, we don't make one up.
